Hello, my real name is Billy Rowe, but I prefer to be called Joey. I am a 45-year-old with 2 kids living in Charlotte, NC. I have been diagnosed with Chiari, Tethered Cord Syndrome (TCS), and Cranio-Cervical Instability (CCI). Due to my surgeries and having to give up work I experienced some financial problems. As a result, I founded Chiari Fund to help others get the care that everyone needs and deserves, regardless of their income status.

My name is Barbara Rowe, and I am Joey’s mom. I am married and have 2 other children, 1 of whom has Chiari as well. Chiari Fund has helped so many people financially, but also has helped others deal with the psychological side of having something like Chiari. Especially when it occurs to multiple children.
